A Cricut Machine, Crochet Hook and Pinterest

We knew we had three crafting tools - our Cricut Machine, my crochet hooks (and yarn) and Pinterest.

Cricut Machine
I had no idea how much we would really use this machine when I asked for it for Christmas. I knew it would be fun and that we could make some stuff with it...but we have REALLY used the machine! The trick for our booth is to find a different use - there is a t-shirt person and there are a few others that have items.

One of our favorite items to sell is the Starbucks Cold Cups! We have lots of fun making them and have been able to sell several.

Fall/Halloween Cups

We also have bags, signs and whatever else we can think up (and by think up...maybe find on Pinterest). Adding the Cricut Heat Press was one of the best additions for these fabric/iron-on projects!

Crochet Hook & Yarn
I definitely am "hooked" on crocheting. I now proudly own several different size hooks and have a lots of yarn to feed my habit...or crafting.

I tend to gravitate to quick and easy projects that I can finish quickly, but I've taken on a few "labor of loves". One of my favorites was this T-Rex...still a little sad that I sold him.

My other favorites have been gifts to family or friends! I gave my dad a chicken coaster, and he loves it (I don't think I thought he would as much as he does). A big red dog that is affectionately called "Carol Clifford" by it's owner. And an octopus hat to my daughter.

I have definitely had some flops as well and a few laughs over those! Often I just recycle the yarn and dispose of that pattern - obviously it is the fault of the pattern :)

Pinterest
If you haven't "utilized" the power of Pinterest for your crafting....oh my, buckle up - it is quite a ride! Em and I both have boards and recently I started organizing the boards. I now have a crochet board with seasonal/themed organization. Not to mention the many other boards with ideas for days.

Now we just have to sit back and see if our crafting is loved as much as we have loved making it.
